A little bit about Mona

Growing up in a family of artists, I started my artistic journey at a very young age. I quickly realized that art itself and the art of teaching have become my passion and that I am naturally gifted. I have taught visual arts to adults as well as students in elementary and high school, and it is through teaching that I have been able to develop several programs adapted to their needs. I have often led workshops for my colleagues from the school board and the teachers’ convention.

Thanks to the art classes I gave, I learned to know and recognize the needs of each person, how they function, how they integrate practical knowledge into the creative process, how they interact with others, and above all the feeling to have accomplished something.

 

Throughout these experiences, the desire to create became an obligation to myself to explore the inner mechanism of my creative consciousness. From small sketches to large scale projects, my art is a highly-personal reflection of myself.
